Take a bite…

Fairytales are mythological in nature with esoteric meaning cloaked in allegory, myth, parables, and symbolism. Mark your calendars for the opening reception of NEWAA artist Shanna Koltz’s ‘Shattered Fairytales: A Unique Twist on Current Issues’, an interactive photography, live art exhibit and book signing coming up Friday, May 18 from 5-9pm at NEWAA’s headquarters at Foxley’s Gallery (623 W. College Ave.).

This emotionally engaging exhibit will feature stunning multi-layered photography art, live models, elaborate costumes, immersive sets, character role-playing, book signing with the artist, and more… not to be missed! (Not for young children.)

Light refreshments and adult beverages served.

Shanna is a conceptual portrait photographer with a focus on storytelling. Her work has been featured in magazines, at museums and shown internationally. The artist has had her stunning work featured in The Louvre in Paris and is a 2018 Fox Cities Magazine ‘Artist to Watch.’ She currently resides in De Pere, Wisconsin and her studio (Studio Rouge) is located in the Downtown De Pere historic Main Ave District.

‘Shattered Fairytales’ will run at Foxley’s from May 18-June 14.
