The Sixth Annual Proces Poetry Contest is underway. This contest, named in honor of retired Library Director Stephen Proces and held during National Poetry Month, is open to all poets from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Poems may be submitted to Neenah Joint School District school offices or dropped off at the Neenah Public Library Children’s Services Department through April 30, 2019.
The poems should be written on 8-1/2” X 11” paper. Poems should include a cover sheet that includes the poet’s name, grade, school, address, and phone number. An email address is optional.
A winner is selected for every grade level. Winners will be notified by mail in June and will receive a book of their choosing at an awards ceremony held in September. All submissions will be displayed in the Library in September. (Poems will not be returned.)
The Proces Poetry Contest is sponsored by the Neenah Public Library Board of Trustees.
For more information, contact Library Director Gretchen Raab at 920-886-6300 or by email at [email protected].
