Premiering Peter and the Wolf, Sergei Prokofiev’s classic tale!
Makaroff Youth Ballet is excited to bring the classic symphonic fairytale Peter and the Wolf to the stage! Catch this premiere in advance of the piece being presented to area first grade students, bringing the beauty of ballet and orchestra to young audiences.
Also on the program, enjoy a classical ballet piece performed to the music of Ludwig van Beethoven, and marvel at the versatility of MYB through a modern piece created by Gina Laurenzi.
And join us in welcoming back to the stage MYB alum Lauren Ganther and her partner Antonio Lopez, guests from Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota. You will be in awe as they present The Firebird: Essence of Being.
