British playwright Caryl Churchill’s exploration of how we communicate with the people we love closes Lawrence University Theatre Arts’ 2017-18 season. The play features 50 short scenes, some comic, some tragic and others evoking every other emotion imaginable. Seventeen actors portray several dozen different roles – spouse, friends, children — in various relationships and moods. The play actively “makes meaning” and asks the audience to do the same. Contains some adult content.
