Cathy Buerger, research and communications associate at the Dangerous Speech Project, examines the costs, benefits and limits of free speech as well as the social consequences when those limits are breeched domestically as well as internationally in this presentation. The managing editor of the Journal of Human Rights, Buerger’s current research focuses on global responses to dangerous and hateful speech. Free and open to the public.
