Featuring a culturally diverse cast of talented Broadway veterans who have graced the stages of such hits as “Les Miserables,” “Porgy and Bess” and “Phantom of the Opera” the musical “Easter Mysteries” is the first depiction of Christ’s death and resurrection told through the eyes of the disciple Peter. The film shines new light onto the Biblical story of Jesus Christ in human terms: ordinary people with hopes, dreams and fears, uncertain of what lies ahead. Lawrence University graduate John O’Boyle, a two-time Tony Award winner, wrote the film’s music, libretto and lyrics. O’Boyle will lead a discussion after the film, which is free and open to the public.
