By golfing in this outing your contribution will go towards increasing the number of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in the community along with increasing public awareness. Each year, more than 300,000 people suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, and of that number, only 12 percent survive. By increasing the number of publicly accessible AEDs, teaching CPR, and increasing the public’s awareness of both, we can triple the survival rate throughout the Fox Valley region.
This is the only annual fundraising event for the HeartStart Foundation.
