Back by popular demand is the second part of our theatrical glimpse into 19th century serial murders and the beginnings of murder investigation as seen through the eyes of police detectives, victims, and the perpetrators who stalked them!
New casts of nefarious real-life murders are central to this year’s production along with new tellings of two famous killers with a connection to Hearthstone. As you tour the historic mansion to live organ music, lead by Victorian police detectives, you will meet the killers and their victims, hearing their tales of malice and woe.
The entire house will be decorated in Victorian mourning traditions with black crepe on the windows, clocks stopped at the hour of death, and photos turned to the walls.
Tours will also include viewing a collection of Victorian mourning artifacts including hair jewelry (made from the locks of the deceased), death photographs, other momento mori, mourning dresses, and related clothing.
The 50 minute long performances start every 15 minutes from 6:00-9:00 pm on October 5, 11, 18, 19, 25, 26, and 31. Tickets are $15 on-line and $18 at the door. Advanced tickets are strongly advised and can be purchased by clicking the button below. Last year’s performances sold out.
