Face-to-Face Civility: Encouraging Conversations in the Age of Social Media

Join UW-Extension Winnebago County as we explore how social media has changed the way we communicate at the Neenah Public Library, Monday, March 5th, at 6:00pm. The two hour program will consist of a brief presentation from Tina Schuelke (Executive Director, Change Management) on the topic of digital communication trends and collaborative communication, followed by active, small group discussion on the topic of social media and how it impacts our lives. The goal of the evening is not to persuade people to reach the same viewpoint, rather, to enjoy stimulating and civil conversation. This free workshop does not require registration.

For more information, please contact the Neenah Public Library adult reference desk by phone: 920-886-6315 or e-mail: [email protected].
Everyone is welcome to attend library programs. There is no right way to join in! If accommodations are needed to participate, please contact the library administrative office at 920-886-6301 or by email at [email protected] at least 24 hours in advance of the program.
