Is there a trick to meditating? What exactly does it do for you?

A CBS News story about mindfulness training pointed out you can increase your coping ability, reduce your stress level, and grow in your qualities of resiliency. All things a family Caregiver needs to care for another family member.

Come learn techniques to de-stress on the run, find a smile in the midst of turmoil, and find solutions to new problems. Dr. Albert Bellg, psychologist, a founding member of the Compassionate Fox Cities organization, will host two – three week courses in Compassionate Meditation at the Thompson Center.

Come to one, all, or any of the three Monday morning sessions, 10am -11am.

November 2, 16, 30 Or at a second session January 11, 25, Feb 8.

Registration is requested in advance, by the date of the session you plan to attend by calling the Thompson Community Center, (820 W College Ave, Appleton) at 920-225-1700.

The program is free, but donations are encouraged.

Come grow your skills and reduce your stress and your fatigue at the same time.

Lutheran Social Services offers this program through the support of the Aging and Disability Resource Center, Outagamie County Branch. This program is funded by the Federal Older Americans Act. Participants may donate to this program.
