The Green Lake Festival of Music offers two overlapping Choral Programs. Registration is now open for singers to participate in one or both programs to rehearse and perform as part of the festival, led by Choral Programs Director and Conductor John Hughes (music director of Chicago Master Singers). GLFM’s Choral Institute Festival Chorus will rehearse and perform works by Carol Barnett and others June 18–21, including The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass with famed bluegrass ensemble Monroe Crossing. The Composer Residency Choral Ensemble will work closely with Composer-in-Residence Shawn Okpebholo June 19–22. Capable singers are encouraged to register for one or both programs; the registration fee is $150 for one program or $250 for both.
