We are excited to host, for the first time at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve, an amazing summer camp that is all about butterflies! Campers (ages 6-9) will learn about the monarch butterfly through a variety of hands-on activities and crafts that include:
- Learning about the significance of milkweed and our environment.
- Identifying monarch eggs and the stages of metamorphosis.
- Making a variety of crafts and butterfly materials that campers will take home.
- Learning about monarch migration and how to track it.
Camp cost is $60/camper. Be sure to provide the participant’s t-shirt size when registering. Please remember preregistration is required and payment is to be made in full at the time of registration. Space is limited so please call 920-434-2824 to register and for more information.
