Explore the age-old tradition of making maple syrup with the entire family. Stop in at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve anytime between 9:30am and 3:00pm on Saturday, March 24, 2018 to learn more about this fascinating process. Fun and informative, this day will feature educational stations through the “sugar bush”, a close-up look at our evaporating cabin and ice cream with our own Barkhausen Maple Syrup.
No registration is necessary for this program – just come on out. Fees for the program are $3 for students, $5 for adults or $15 for families.
