The Art of Community is an interactive, educational speaker series that gives our community the knowledge, tools, and resources to move towards being well individuals in a well community. The facets of wellness for individuals, families, community, and our environment will be explored in talks given by inspiring, knowledgeable leaders in our community. Each talk with partner with a community organization to share the spotlight on the wonderful work being done all around our great area.
Speakers: Amber Bodart of Downtown FDL Partnership with special guest representative from Salute the Troops and Craig Molitor of Destination Lake Winnebago Region
Amy and her Salute the Troops guest will be talking about the Farmer’s Market and how it brings the community together, and about the positive effects of growing community gardens. Craig will be discussing the Community Identity Project which entails the art of placemaking as well as a Community Wide Customer Service training program, and the belief that a community must be a great place to live in order for it to be a great place to visit.
