ADULT AFTERNOON PROGRAM: 6 Pillars of Brain Health
Join us at the library on Monday, October 2nd at 2:00 PM for an adult afternoon program on the 6 Pillars of Brain Health presented by LaReina Tipping, Program Manager at the Brain Center of Green Bay.
Learn about the essential habits and protective measures under your control to promote healthy aging and maintain good cognitive health throughout life. Key presentation points will include brain foods and nutrition, brain and body benefits of physical exercise and restorative sleep, appropriate stress management and social stimulation, and avoidance of toxins. Become aware of neuroplasticity – our brain’s amazing ability to adapt, change and create new pathways in response to experiences, further information, or damage.
The hour-long program will take place on the first floor in the Shattuck Community Room at the Neenah Public Library. All interested individuals are welcome to attend this free event. If accommodations are needed to attend, please contact the library at least 24 hours in advance of the program. For more information, please contact the reference desk by phone: 920-886-6315, e-mail: [email protected] or visit our website, www.neenahlibrary.org.
