Charles Dickens’ classic tale, “A Christmas Carol”, will be coming to Oshkosh in dinner theatre style this December. Produced by locally-owned Timber Mill Theatre Company, the performances will be held in the atrium at Beckets in Oshkosh and will run Dec 12-14.
The well-known story follows a penny-pinching Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey of re-discovering the joy and love during the Christmas season that he has lost somewhere along the way. Through reminders of his past and glimpses into his future, the spirits of Christmas will try to urge Ebenezer to take charge of his present and turn to a more optimistic outlook.
Dinner will be served at 6:30PM and will be a 3-course plated meal to include: Winter Green Salad, Duo of Roasted Turkey and Strip Loin with 5-grain medley and glazed carrots, and some delicious Bread Pudding for dessert.
The performance will begin at 7:30PM and will have an approximate run time of 90 minutes with a brief intermission.
