Help THELMA celebrate 25 years as an organization with a recharged and revamped Windy Dinner THELMA Style. We are doing a complete building takeover with festivities on every level. Live music on every floor, raffles, art classes, food stations, cocktails, silent auction and more! This event will definitely go down in THELMA history! It’s the event of the year!
In honor of the organization’s 25 years, Members of THELMA are the recipients of the James C. Hubbard Windy Award. The award goes to an individual or group of individuals who have made a positive impact on THELMA and the Fond du Lac community.
“Our members are an integral part of our success and we are thrilled to give this prestigious award to them,“ said Jacqui Corsi, THELMA’s Executive Director. “They have brought us through our first 25 years, they will bring us the next 25 years.”
The award, which is a model, of the Andrew Redington sculpture that sits on the corner of Marr and Sheboygan streets, will remain on permanent display at THELMA.
This award is different than those given in the past, as it’s a mirror instead of glass. The idea came from Time Magazine’s Person of the Year when it was awarded to “You.” The mirror represents that our success is a reflection of our dedicated members. Our success is their success.
