2022 Fond du Lac County Master Gardener Plant Sale, MG Shop and Garden Fair
FOND DU LAC – The annual Fond du Lac County Master Gardener Association Plant Sale, MG Shop and Garden Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 14, in the Cow Palace at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds, Martin Avenue, Fond du Lac. Cash and personal checks are welcomed. Indoors, rain or shine.
There is no admission fee, and all proceeds of the sales go to support the many volunteer projects in the area, including local food pantry and elementary school gardens, numerous community beautification and natural resource protection projects and fund college scholarships to local horticultural students.
The plants are grown locally by Master Gardeners in the UW-Fond du Lac Greenhouse, MG volunteer gardens, or local garden centers and landscapers. Back by popular demand will be a wide selection of perennials dug right from the Master Gardeners’ own backyard landscaping!
Gardening enthusiasts will be able to stock up on a large variety of vegetables and herbs, as well as flowering annuals and landscape perennials. New this year is the MG Shop, which will offer a selection of garden art and décor, arts and crafts, home goods, birdhouses, planters and houseplants. Local horticulture and gardening product vendors will also be featured.
Master Gardener volunteers will be circulating to answer questions, offer selection suggestions and give advice on local growing conditions and pest control options.
