Big Dog Adventure Park

Family bonding gets an upgrade at this 126-acre outdoor paintball, disc golf and laser tag field. Test your shooting skills at the paintball target range or play one of the paintball/laser tag scenario games. The play fields feature varying types of terrain and include trees, grassy plains, bunkers and fox holes to make the game even more interesting. Take in a round of disc golf at the 9-hole course which is perfect for players of all levels. Minimum of four players for paintball and laser tag. Open year-round by reservation only. Summer weekends are the busiest, so try to reserve your game at least a week in advance.

Silver Lake 

A day spent on SIlver Lake is a necessary excursion during your stay in Wautoma. If your accommodations aren’t on the water, visitors have access to the lake from three public boat landings. Mark’s Quality Marine & Sport Shop offers a wide variety of boats for rent, by the day or week, including pontoons, canoes and kayaks. Blackhawk Marine also offers boat rentals as well as stand-up paddle boards.

Ice Age National Scenic Trail

This thousand-mile footpath features Wisconsin’s unique landscape that was sculpted by glaciers more than 12,000 years ago. More than 20 miles of the trail, which is one of only 11 National Scenic Trails, pass through western Waushara County near Wautoma. The Meccan River segment traverses a variety of environments including wetlands, grasslands and forests, and also includes breathtaking views of the Mecan Springs and Mecan River. Waushara Country Club Golf Course

This 27-hole, public golf course rotates its nines every day so there’s always a new challenge awaiting. Before your game, warm up with a bucket of range balls at the practice facility. From the straightforward Lakeview 9 to the challenging Westwoods 9, golfers of all levels will be tested and rewarded for their skill.

Edenwood Ranch & Preserve

This exclusive hunting resort just outside of Wautoma might be where you snag your trophy buck. White-tailed deer, fallow deer and elk roam the preserve located on pristine forested land. A private hunt includes luxury lodging, gourmet food prepared by a personal chef and amenities like heated hunting stands. Call for a reservation.
