The relaxing atmosphere, reasonable prices and friendly employees keep these roasters busy.
Rebellion Brewing
For those who love craft beer and a scenic view, look no further than Rebellion Brewing. Located in the historic Cedarburg Mill, this unique gem features a large outdoor patio that overlooks an old fashioned water wheel and the Cedar Creek, which flows throughout Cedarburg to the Milwaukee River. During your visit, grab one of the many featured craft beers on tap, a pizza, and relax alongside the beautiful scenery. All of the ingredients are locally sourced from farms and vendors from all across America.
The Fermentorium
Located off of Hwy 60, The Fermentorium has been serving up signature craft beers from Sweater Weather to the Covered Bridge since 2016. This brewery was one of the first breweries to open in Ozaukee County. Offering 24 different beers on tap, The Fermentorium is a great spot to pull up a barstool, order a bite to eat, and indulge in a one of a kind craft Ale or IPA. These locally crafted beers are also available at various restaurants and bars throughout Southern Wisconsin. The taproom is open Tuesday through Sunday.

PJ Piper Pancake House is a modern day restaurant that was originally an early 20th century home. Today, it is a local hot spot for all things breakfast. With its friendly staff, excellent menu, and affordable prices, this cozy diner is sure to please. Their menu features daily specials and a kid-approved children’s menu. Pop-in for a signature skillet or pancakes hot off the griddle. Open until 2 p.m. daily.
Lunch:
Located in the historic Cedar Creek Settlement, inside a restored 19th century blacksmith shop, is the Anvil Pub and Grille. This rustic gem serves up lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Do yourself a favor and order the Forge sandwich. You won’t regret this toasty treat baked to perfection in an authentic stone hearth oven. With moderate pricing and gorgeous outdoor seating, the Anvil Pub and Grille is a must. The outdoor patio overlooks the creek and a gushing waterfall. Dine in, curbside and delivery are available. Cream & Crepe Cafe is another solid lunch option. The quaint cafe sits on Cedar Creek in the historic Wittenberg Woolen Mill building and offers a variety of French and American cuisine. Favorites include the savory Tree of Life crepe made with broccoli spears and asparagus, topped with Swiss almond cheese sauce, and the sweet Apple Blossom crepe – vanilla frozen custard topped with hot cinnamon-sugar apples.
Dinner:
Open for dine in, carryout or curbside pickup, add the Lime Cantina to your list of local favorites. With a large outdoor patio and live music, Lime Cantina has it all. From street tacos to enchiladas, Lime Cantina’s fresh ingredients and made to order menu items are sure to appease all guests. Check their website for weekly specials and live music schedules. Reservations are highly recommended. In the mood for a burger and cold beer? Maxwell’s is your place. The casual full-service bar and restaurant is a favorite spot for a juicy burger, Friday fish and a game of pool.
Dessert:
Since 1972, The Cedarburg Chocolate Factory has been a local hot spot serving up sandwiches, salads, and handcrafted milkshakes and malt treats. Try the hot fudge made in house. It is amazing! Owners Mike Toffler and Peter Bloomer take great pride in their menu and only use the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. This family friendly restaurant is open year round and is located in historic downtown.
Meals You’ll Remember: The Farmstead
If you don’t pay attention, you might just miss this hidden gem. The Farmstead, a local, 150-year-old fieldstone farmhouse, is located south of Cedarburg. Best known for their mouthwatering, garlic glazed steak, The Farmstead offers a wide selection of dishes. With its farmhouse flare and country style cooking, the eatery is the perfect place to enjoy a great meal, great conversation and great hospitality. Be sure to try the garlic mashed potatoes, you will not regret it.
Brandywine
Named after the heirloom tomato, this steakhouse does not disappoint. Named one of the top 25 restaurants by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Brandywine offers a wide variety of cuisines and signature cocktails. Brandywine is a family owned and operated restaurant that serves handmade pastas and farm to table produce and meats. Locals praise the fried Brussel sprouts, Blue Crab ravioli, and the buttermilk panna cotta as “simply divine.” Be sure to stop in on a Tuesday for their date night specials and outdoor patio seating.
