Join artist Lindsay Huehns for a fun and creative hand-building pottery workshop at Memorial Florists & Green Houses in the 1923 Legacy Lounge for this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create your very own planters from clay using hand-building techniques. Guests will learn how to shape, texture, and build a functional planter while adding their own personal style. During the workshop, you’ll also get to choose your glaze color. After class, Lindsay will take each piece home to be kiln-fired, professionally glazed, and fired again to create a beautiful, food-safe finish. No pottery experience is necessary- just bring your creativity and enjoy an afternoon of hands-on art and community! Wine, coffee, water, and soda are available for purchase.
