SUMMARY:Neenah Public Library Field Trip Storytime Returns
DESCRIPTION:The popular Neenah Library Public Library Field Trip Storytime returns to four new locations this fall. Join Library youth staff for a short storytime followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of a local business.   \nTheisen’s Hardware Store is the first stop at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday\, Oct. 14. Enjoy free popcorn\, a reading of “Let’s Go to the Hardware Store” and a tour. Observant children (and adults) may even spot some of the tools from the book in the store and the original Krueger’s model train running above the toy department.   \nThis year’s Field Trips will be held 1:30 pm Wednesdays on the following dates:\nOct. 14 at Theisen’s Hardware Store\nOct. 21 at Great Harvest Bread Co.\nOct. 28 at Nicolet Bank\nNov. 4 at American Animal Hospital  \nNo registration is necessary.  \nFor more information\, contact Daniel Higgins at 920-886-6335 or higgins@neenahlibrary.org.

Explore hands-on science activities presented by local scientists and sci-thusiasts.  \nShine a light on the human body with Neenah Public Library\, explore nature with Apple Creek YMCA\, see inside a sturgeon with Wisconsin Sea Grant\, and discover how chemistry builds our world with American Chemical Society’s Chemistry Under Construction. \nGet creative with a community art and science project! Add your piece alongside contributions from children\, families\, and adults in communities across the region. Sponsored by Wisconsin Science Festival and Wisconsin Sea Grant\, the project will come together as one shared artwork—and Neenah participants will take home a piece of the experience! \nAll ages are welcome; activities are geared for ages 5–13.
