DESCRIPTION:Street Music Week began in Spokane\, WA\, in 2002 to raise funds for a local food bank. Today\, it has grown into a national initiative\, with additional cities hosting events the second week of June to support their local communities. In 2012\, a Heid Music team member spearheaded efforts to make Appleton the first sister city to Spokane for this event. \nLocal musicians—ranging from amateurs to professionals—donate their time to perform along College Avenue from noon to 1:00 PM\, Monday–Friday. \nWant to be a part of this great event on College Avenue?
