Wisconsin Symphonic Winds presents its August concert “Excursions!” on Sunday afternoon, August 27, 2017 in Pickard Auditorium at Neenah High School. Take a musical joyride with the Wisconsin Symphonic Winds through the Swiss Alps, a British countryside, New York City, and many other exciting locations. All the music has a story to tell and the journeys are as enjoyable as the destinations.
The third of three concert programs being presented throughout this summer, this is the inaugural season of the ensemble’s new conductor, Dr. Mark Fonder. The 50 member Wind Band Ensemble is in its 14th season of presenting summer concerts in the Fox River Valley and is comprised of many of the Fox Valley’s finest musicians.
