Relive the excitement and glamour of the 1940s at EAA’s September Swing! This big band hangar dance features the sights and sounds of Ladies Must Swing, an all-female, 19-piece jazz band from Madison, Wisconsin.
- Start the celebration off with delicious era-inspired hors d’oeuvres at the anti-rationing buffet and grab one of our featured signature drinks from the bar.
- Visit the head table to talk with WWII veterans, hear some of their stories, and thank them for their service.
- Learn to swing (or practice your skills) from 7:30 to 8 p.m. with professional dance instructor Bruce Marshall.
- Showcase your moves and dance the night away with your sweetheart when Ladies Must Swing takes the stage at 8 p.m.
- Dance the night away among the Eagle Hangar’s extravagant and authentic collection of WWII planes, vehicles, and artifacts.
- Vintage wear is encouraged but not required.
- Prizes awarded for best dancers and best attire.
- Hors d’oeuvres and dance lessons included with admission.
- Wine, beer, and cocktails available for purchase all evening.
- World War II veterans are welcomed with free admission.

*Price is $40 per person or $75 per two. Tickets must be purchased by 5 p.m. CDT on September 23, 2016 to receive this special admission price. Tickets purchased after this date or at the door on the night of the event are $45 per person and $80 per couple.
