Relive the excitement and glamour of the 1940s at EAA’s September Swing! This big band hangar dance features the sights and sounds of Ladies Must Swing, an all-female, 19-piece jazz band from Madison, Wisconsin.

  • Start the celebration off with delicious era-inspired hors d’oeuvres at the anti-rationing buffet and grab one of our featured signature drinks from the bar.
  • Visit the head table to talk with WWII veterans, hear some of their stories, and thank them for their service.
  • Learn to swing (or practice your skills) from 7:30 to 8 p.m. with professional dance instructor Bruce Marshall.
  • Showcase your moves and dance the night away with your sweetheart when Ladies Must Swing takes the stage at 8 p.m.
  • Dance the night away among the Eagle Hangar’s extravagant and authentic collection of WWII planes, vehicles, and artifacts.
  • Vintage wear is encouraged but not required.
  • Prizes awarded for best dancers and best attire.
  • Hors d’oeuvres and dance lessons included with admission.
  • Wine, beer, and cocktails available for purchase all evening.
  • World War II veterans are welcomed with free admission.
  • Student discount is available with proof of student ID.
