The Pro Arte String Quartet will open the 2017 Searl Pickett Chamber Music Series at Church of Our Savior (at the intersection of 9th and Main Street) on Friday, Sept. 22. One of the world’s finest string quartets, the Pro Arte was organized in Belgium in 1911 and has been in residence at UW-Madison since 1938.
