Youth Workshop – Ages 11 to 14
Want to learn to master the skill of drawing what you see? Join us to learn a few tips and tricks of the trade. This workshop will help refine your portraiture skills, using a variety of drawing materials. Bring in a photo to work from or work from real life, the choice is up to you. This workshop is for artists of all levels. This class is encouraged for intermediate students.
About the Instructor:
Mikayla Metten is a fine artist who grew up in Wisconsin, spending her time drawing in and out of the classroom. She studied painting and drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and received her BFA from there. Her major is in figurative painting and drawing, while she also focuses in collage and photography. She recently moved back to Wisconsin and is practicing and teaching art in the Fox Cities.
