Event Calendar

Arrive at the park anytime between 5-7 pm to enjoy a self-led story walk in the woods. Pages from a delightful picture book will be stationed along the stroller-friendly path to read together as you enjoy the beauty of nature. Families will also have the option to cross the Fox River canal on the bow-string pedestrian bridge that connects Heesakker Park and Island Park. A craft related to the story will be available after the walk in the pavilion. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner for a fun family evening in the park.
