We end our season in celebration of the Symphony’s 50th anniversary season by bring this expansive choral/orchestral masterpiece to life. The work is both thrilling and haunting, as it marries energy and warmth of the music with text taken from Walt Whitman’s poems entitled Leaves of Grass.
