Harbor House’s 6th Annual Warrior Princess Mud Run
Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs is leading a community-wide partnership to prevent and end domestic abuse. We work to do everything in our power to keep people safe through knowledge and connection – and we take time to celebrate the bravery and courage of the individuals and families who have experienced the challenges of domestic abuse.
The Warrior Princess Mud Run (WPMR) is an event for all of us to get together to celebrate the courage and bravery of everyone who has had domestic abuse affect their lives. And we make it fun by taking on obstacles and getting a little muddy along the way! WPMR is our largest fundraiser of the year and our dedicated, enthusiastic participants have raised over $488,000 in support of our efforts to end domestic abuse!
The WPMR is a non-competitive 5K adventure run/walk and obstacle course designed for women and men of all fitness levels. This isn’t a timed event, so there’s no pressure – just go at your own pace! Complete the course, get covered in mud, and become a true “Warrior Princess” by joining us on the journey to end domestic abuse!
Get Muddy and End Domestic Abuse – Fundraising Opportunities
This event is so much more than having a great time getting muddy and running obstacles! Unlike other popular mud run events, ALL proceeds from this event directly support Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs and our agency’s work to end domestic violence in our community.
Have an even greater impact providing safety, help and hope for individuals and families who have experienced domestic abuse in our community through early intervention, vital crisis services, and by starting your own Warrior Princess Mud Run fundraiser. Fundraising is open to anyone and 100% of proceeds go directly to Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs.
Raise $150 or more for Harbor House and get your registration refunded*
- When you register for the Warrior Princess Mud Run, you receive a link to a unique page on the fundraising site, CrowdRise, that will accept credit card donations for Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs.
- Send your fundraising link to friends and family, asking them to support your Warrior Princess Mud Run fundraising effort by making a donation to Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs.
- Every donation counts. Whether $5, $25, or $100, each gift makes a huge difference to helping survivors of domestic violence and their families.
- As an added incentive, the Warrior Princess Mud Run will refund the registration fee (processing fees not included) for all participants who raise $150 or more for Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs.
*All Warrior Princess Mud Run Fundraisers will have 5-days after the Warrior Princess Mud Run event on August 19, 2017 to reach their fundraising goal. All refunds will be administered within 3 weeks after event weekend, and processed back to the credit card with which the Warrior Princess Mud Run registration was purchased (sorry, no exceptions).
