As we approach the centennial of America’s entry into World War I, it is a good time to honor our “Doughboys” or veterans from the Great War.
Russell Horton of the Wisconsin Veterans Museum will walk you through the process of researching these soldiers, specifically the 120,000 men and women from Wisconsin who participated.
From draft registrations, service records and unit histories through records of individuals, he will provide a path to make your research easier and more successful.
