Anaïs Mitchell is a Vermont and Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter who comes from the world of narrative folksong, poetry and balladry. Her recent work, Hadestown, a folk opera based on the Orpheus myth, opened Off-Broadway in 2016 and was just nominated in 2017 for Outstanding Musical of the year. She will be making her first appearance at the Thrasher Opera House in downtown Green Lake.
