Big-name Broadway shows and entertaining events of all varieties will be featured at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center during its 2015-2016 season.

The Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America – Fox Cities Series opens with the exciting and dynamic show, “Kinky Boots.”

The six-time, Tony Award-winning show will run from Oct. 13-18. The musical tells the story of Charlie, who needs to save the shoe business he inherited from his father. It’s inspired by a true story and features an award-winning score by Cydni Lauper.

“This show has the opportunity to connect to people and to open hearts to new possibilities,” says Trisha Witt, director of Marketing and Communications at the Center.

She adds that this is a Wisconsin premiere, which will draw people into the Fox Cities.

The Boldt Arts Alive! Series also brings big names and new views to the stage.

“The Arts Alive! Series shows are wonderful events that help enhance understanding, educate about other cultures and prove to be exceptional live experiences,” says Witt.

Hear firsthand accounts from WWI soldiers of the Christmas Truce of 1914 in Theatre Latte Da’s performance of “All is Calm – The Christmas Truce of 1914.” This show recreates the amazing moment when soldiers put down their guns to celebrate Christmas together.
