Intern Intro: Sara

The Basics

Name: Sara Stein

Age: 21

Hometown: Edina, MN

University attending/year in school: University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, junior

Favorite thing about the Fox Cities: I like the tight-knit feel of the cities, everyone is really friendly and it’s a beautiful area.

The Dirt

What is your favorite quote? “Your day will go the way the corners of your mouth turn.”

Favorite book? The Great Gatsby

Biggest guilty pleasure? I love watching all of the Kardashian shows, they’re so bad but so good at the same time.

Most played song on your iPod? Probably something by Needtobreathe or John Mayer. If I’m working out, then rock or hip-hop.

If you could have any super power, what would it be? To be able to predict the future; I’d be curious to know what my life will be like in 10 years. Or I would love to know how to sing really well.

If you could be any fictional character, who would it be? Hermione from Harry Potter.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be?  Oprah. She’s so inspirational.

What do you hope to do after this internship? I hope to move back to Minnesota after I graduate, because I miss home and I would love to live in downtown Minneapolis. I’m a city girl.

What’s your dream job? To work on a show like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Write your memoir in six words: Follow your passions wherever they go.

At what age did you consider yourself an adult?
I don’t think I will consider myself an adult until I have graduated college, have a steady job, and have settled down somewhere.

Hidden talents? I can play the flute really well. When I was a kid, I competed in contests but I haven’t played in a long time. I hope to start playing again at some point.

One interesting fact: I absolutely love to run. I have done a triathlon before, and I would love to do a marathon in the future. Well, maybe a half marathon. 🙂
